An accepting-pitches list is useful only when a company's work and submission rules fit your project. These official pages were checked on 16 October 2026; check them again before submitting. Stable Studios publishes this guide, so its inclusion below is an explanation of our own route, not an independent ranking.
What an unsolicited submission actually means
An unsolicited pitch arrives without the recipient having specifically requested that material. Some organizations prohibit it. Others permit it through a defined process, often with conditions. A contact form for general business, casting, recruitment, or production quotes is not necessarily that process. Even an invitation to discuss a project may require a release before the full material is reviewed.
Separate three things in your research: whether a route exists, whether your show fits, and what the recipient could do next. A production partner's interest is different from a broadcaster's commission, and neither is proof that your production budget has been secured.
Official policies to compare
These are different routes, not a ranking or a statement that a company wants your particular show. Read each policy in full, including restrictions and rights provisions.
| Organization and role | Published route | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Stable Studios — this site's studio | Public pitch form for projects to consider for internal funding and work with our animation team. | Submission is a request for consideration; selection and any deal require further discussion. |
| A Productions — children's content production studio | Written ideas by email, subject to its submission agreement. | Review the full release, age requirement, and whether the project fits its work. |
| Terra Mater Studios — nature and environmental documentary producer | Public project form with mandatory submission terms. | Assess subject fit and the form's project, team, and material requirements. |
| MY Entertainment — unscripted television producer | Invites concepts from independent creators through its pitch route. | Its stated focus is unscripted; this is not an invitation for scripted drama or comedy. |
| Netflix — streaming service and content buyer | No public unsolicited-pitch route; uses qualifying established intermediaries. | An intermediary must have the relevant Netflix relationship. |
| Sony Pictures — entertainment production and distribution group | Official FAQ says unsolicited projects are not accepted. | Do not send a script to general corporate contacts. |
| Warner Bros. — entertainment group | Published service terms reject unsolicited creative submissions. | Do not confuse fan-content features with an original-series development invitation. |
An open door still has a specific shape
A Productions' public agreement is a conditional route for written ideas, not a promise to produce them or treat them as confidential. Its children's content work makes audience fit a material part of your research. Terra Mater's form belongs in a different shortlist: its company describes a nature and environmental documentary focus. Do not send an unrelated sitcom simply because the form exists.
MY Entertainment explicitly distinguishes its unscripted work from scripted drama and comedy. A reality concept needs a reason the people, access, or format can sustain a show. A polished fictional pilot is a different product. Checking the company's remit can save you more time than preparing a larger attachment package.
Read what you are agreeing to
Before submitting, check how the terms address confidentiality, similar independently developed work, permission to share the material, ownership statements, and any future agreement. Do not assume that a label such as 'submission release' means the same thing everywhere. If a term is unclear or affects valuable rights, get appropriate professional advice before agreeing to it.
- Save a copy of the policy and the exact version of your pitch.
- Confirm that every collaborator has agreed to this submission.
- Separate rights you control from rights you would still need to secure.
- Send only the requested files using the prescribed channel.
- Record any exclusivity, response policy, or restrictions you accept.
Keep a verified shortlist rather than a permanent mailing list
Policies, staff, and development priorities change. Add a 'last checked' date next to every official link. Treat an unavailable page or contradictory instruction as a reason to pause that approach and clarify the process. A company that once ran an open call may no longer be accepting projects under those rules.
Your final shortlist should explain the match in a sentence. 'Nature documentary producer; we have documented access to a threatened wetland' is actionable. 'Accepts ideas' is incomplete. Good targeting protects the recipient's time and helps you decide which material deserves development before you make the next approach.
Common questions
Does accepting unsolicited pitches mean accepting unsolicited scripts?
No. Permission to send a short concept may not include a full screenplay, artwork, or reel. Follow the exact material and channel requirements on the official page.
Will a company sign my NDA before reading?
Do not assume it will. Read the company's published submission terms before sending material and decide whether you are comfortable with the process. Seek advice about rights questions that you cannot resolve yourself.
Are these companies guaranteed to reply?
No guarantee is made here. Each organization controls its review process. An available form and a completed submission do not establish interest, an evaluation deadline, or a financing commitment.
